Gratitude – Is it in your DNA?
Being grateful is so easy to do but how often do we appreciate the favours our creator has bestowed upon us?
The world was filled with negativity and vitriol for many months during the Pandemic and we can say that it’s been very interesting to see how human beings are returning to a new world.
We have all witnessed inexplicable and acts of ingratitude in the early days of the Pandemic and we’ve all had many hardships to endure so why not change this mindset right now by thinking about 1 thing you are grateful for?
We’ve found a few tips that keep us humble and we believe that gratitude starts with the simple act of reflection. We’d like to thank you for coming along on the development journey of the Madani Chronicles and we’d like to share some simple actions that may help you to be a little more gracious in your daily affairs.
- Start your day with an immediate moment of gratitude upon awakening. A positive thought to begin the immediate moments of your consciousness will help you to begin your daily routine in a more positive and productive manner.
- Appreciate the gifts you have been given as a human being. Your senses and your capacities are only yours and they are only yours for a limited time so make use of your gifts every day.
- The greatest loss is the loss of Prophetic wisdom and when you study the lives of great men and women, especially those of faithful and good-natured intent, you will realize that your struggles are really not so bad after all. Study the lives of your role models and you will find that their journey was not easy at all.
- Gratitude costs us absolutely nothing and can be experienced at any time of day. Close your eyes and take a deep calming breath and focus on moments that you’ve experienced in life that were awesome. Maybe even write them down in a journal and when you are feeling down, open up that journal and read what you’ve written from within your own soul!
