Eid Al-Ahda 2022
We sincerely wish all of our community celebrating around the world a wonderful and prosperous Eid Mubarak Al-Adha.
This festive Islamic celebration has once again returned in which Hajj Pilgrims and Muslims around the world express ritual acts of faith as prescribed. It is a great tribute to Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the trials he experienced.
Hajj is an essential pillar of Islam in which Muslims are asked to perform this ritual once in their lifetime if they are capable of doing so. The slaughter of an animal is required if they are able to do so. A portion of an animal is distributed to family, community, and the needy.
In unison with the Hajj pilgrims, Muslims celebrate their accomplishment EID while the Haji’s are completing the final acts of faith after making du’a and supplicating to Allah (swt) on Arafat Day.
These days in many parts of the world where meat, typically a portion of lamb on the table of Muslims around the world in parts of the world where meat may be considered a luxury item. Incredible acts of charity are exhibited during this time.
Eid Al-Adha is a celebration and a time of feast. It is also a time of the gift and present giving and partaking in and we hope that if you are celebrating or know of anyone celebrating that this time is filled with peace and glad tidings within your community wherever you may live.
