The life of a prophet
Have you ever wondered what the life of a prophet was like?
Beyond Badr the Madani Chronicles attempts to bring the trials and tribulations of the final years of the life of Prophet Muhammad (saw) to mainstream and western audiences via our graphic comic offering now available on Amazon and our exciting new limited edition premium comic line available soon.
Creator Kelvin Ali explains what the comic series’ objectives are and some of the reasons for creating this new Seerah initiative.
“As a revert to Islam and believing in the biblical teachings Jesus/ISA (AS) prior to my journey in Islam, I found the struggle to learn this new Abrahamic knowledge to be a wonderful and enlightening experience. Studying the lives of the Abrahamic prophets opened my heart to humility and acceptance of all the teaching and wisdom from these Prophetic (AS) sources as described in the Quran and from Authentic hadith. I found that when you study the lives of the leaders of nations and their lineage, you understand that not only were these human beings divinely chosen due to their upright characters, they were also very gifted in their ability to provide wisdom to their respective civilizations despite many of their messages being rejected by their own people. I’ve found that studying history gives you an appreciation to understand that there is no loss greater than the loss of direct knowledge from our creator to all human beings. Over 2 decades I’ve learned to love a man whom I knew absolutely nothing about by studying the leadership decisions he was challenged with and the beautiful patience that was needed to guide the most ignorant of human beings towards a simple lifestyle of gratitude, cleanliness, and respect for all humans. Since that time Islam has spread to over 1.8 billion human beings currently believing in the message of Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the revelation of the Quran to be true. Our beliefs as Muslims take us back to a place when we appreciate Quranic wisdom obtained from the first prophet Adam (AS) and also to an understanding of our connection to the heritage of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam which is traceable back to prophet Abraham (AS).”
The picture above is believed to be the imprint of the feet of Prophet Abraham (AS) which is located just a few feet away from the Holy Kabbah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
