Does March go in like a lion and out like a lamb?

It’s been 9 years since NWES was founded and we’ve been working hard! Being founded at the end of the winter transitioning to spring has allowed us to notice some patterns over the years and last year, like all of you, we were challenged to find new and innovative ways to get things done.

As we set our sights to the spring season, we are getting ready to do some hobby gardening!

Do you have a green thumb or does someone in your family love to plant?

What are your favorite things to plant in the spring?

Does your family have a tradition or an agricultural activity like strawberry or apple picking that allowed you to make amazing memories?

What are you looking forward to the most this spring?

Being in quarantine in 2020 was interesting and scarcity allowed us to experiment at times. We planted some hard to find yet easy to grow herbs and spices and this season our creators around the world continue to plant seeds with aspirations that nature will provide the best of harvests in the fall.

Did you know that a full-scale war was averted during the life of Prophet Muhammad (saw) because the Quraish saw the signs of a poor harvest as a bad Omen en route to fight Prophet Muhammad’s (saw) army!

As the Quraish army marched they noticed severe drought and decaying land which they viewed as a terrible sign on that day so long ago. It was in fact a blessing.
